Overview

Why Indian students choose United Kingdom

The UK is built for specialists: most postgraduate programs are one year and go deep on a single subject. Cities are dense with employer opportunities, and the Graduate route offers a straightforward post-study window.

  • One-year masters lower time-away-from-career cost
  • Strong global recognition in business, law, medicine and design
  • Compact geography and public transport — no car required
  • Graduate route is unsponsored — you can search, freelance or switch
How it works

Undergraduate degrees are three years (four in Scotland). Taught masters are one year. Research masters and PhDs follow separately.
